Applications for DIA 2023 Inside/Out Program now available – Macomb Daily

Applications for the 2023 Detroit Institute of Arts Inside/Out Program are now open until the end of next month.

The innovative program delivers and installs high-quality reproductions from the DIA collection at outdoor locations in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.

DIA has partnered with more than 100 communities in the Detroit metro area as well as special facilities on Mackinac Island and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The reproductions were installed throughout the month of May and will be visible until the beginning of November. Each community will present four to ten reproductions.

In Macomb County, Inside/Out reproductions can be found in the following communities:

• Armada
• Median line
• Freedom Hill County Park, Sterling Heights
• Huron-Clinton Metroparks (Harrison and Shelby townships)

• Macomb Community College – East, Central and South campuses

• New Baltimore
• Roseville
• Warren

• Wolcott Mill Metropark, Ray Township

The programs are made possible by the support of residents of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.

Maps of each location are available on the DIA website at dia.org/insideout.

The application for the 2023 season is also available. Communities interested in the Inside|Out 2023 program can apply until July 25, 2022.
