The application period for the Rice Leadership Development Program closes this Friday

ARLINGTON, VA – The Rice Leadership Development Program gives future leaders a comprehensive understanding of the rice industry, with an emphasis on personal development and communication skills. The class attends four week-long sessions over a two-year period that encompass studies of all aspects of the rice industry through first-hand observation. They also attend seminars and workshops designed to build leadership skills.

The Rice Foundation will be accepting applications for the Rice Leadership Development Program until COB on September 9, 2022.

To be eligible to participate, applicants must derive their primary livelihood from rice farmers or from a profession or business related to the rice industry, including rice mills, distributors of rice products, sales agents, suppliers, dryers, extension services, research facilities, etc. Industry-related category participants must serve the rice industry in its primary professional responsibility.

Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 45 at the time of application.
